Jedi is 7 years 0 months old, Monkey is 3 years 9  months old, Bitty Bug is 22.5 months old

This week, we reviewed the Holy Family lesson from last week.  We also started talking about Advent.  For the first week, we talked about the prophets and the star that pointed the way to the newborn Jesus.  Jedi also wondered if Bethlehem was a real city, so we talked about how Bethlehem was where Jesus was born, but that the city also still exists.

Here is a review of our lessons for the week…

Monkey and Bug playing with the Little People nativity set

Watching the lesson about the first week of Advent (Jedi saw the camera and decided to put a really excited face on. LOL! Although he did get really excited when we lit the first candle). In this lesson, there were 3 purple candles and one pink one (only one candle was lit this week), a card with an advent wreath with one candle lit, and a drawing of a finger pointing. The finger is pointing to the wooden image of Bethlehem
